We LOVE where we live, we love the beautiful gifts the earth gives us every day! That is why Pop Park City is committed to doing our best to be good stewards of the earth.

We worked hard to find the best possible latex out there for your balloons! Our latex balloons are made from 100% natural latex — not plastic. Our latex balloons are biodegradable, and decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard.

Latex balloons come from rubber trees. Latex is collected by cutting the tree’s bark, then catching the latex in a cup. Latex harvesting doesn’t hurt the tree!

Latex balloons are Earth-friendly! Rubber trees grow in rain forests. Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years.

Our Pop Disposal Program!

If you would like to have us dispose of your balloon and weight, please let us know when we deliver your balloon! You can also email us at hello@popparkcity.com to let us know when you’d like to have your balloon taken care of.

We will pick up your balloon and weight, add it to our compost pile, and ensure that everything we pick up is properly disposed of.

Don’t want us to pick up your balloon? Here are a few ways you can be a good steward and dispose of your balloon and weight:

  1. Cut your balloon into small pieces (this will help it biodegrade quickly and ensure no animals are harmed by large pieces of balloons)

  2. Reuse the weight for another balloon, or repurpose into something you will use (makes a great paper weight!)

  3. Repurpose the ribbon for use on gifts, cards, or anything else you can imagine!

Have another way you’ve repurposed or recycled your balloon? Let us know! We love hearing how you’ve been creative!

Balloon Releases

Pop Park City does not support the release of balloons. That balloon can harm an animal before it has a chance to biodegrade. This is why we advise our clients to follow Smart Balloon Practices - Don’t Let Go - Inflate * Weight* Enjoy.
